About the Accommodation

Sleeps 6+1, 3 bedrooms

Under new ownership in 2021, the house has been upgraded and is perfect for families, groups of friends or even a romantic retreat.

For those who want to stay connected, it has superfast broadband, as well as great entertainment, with a full Sky TV package, including Sky Cinema and Sky Sports, plus Netflix. Alexa is also available for music.

We have an Easee EV charger available, with night-times rates of 20p/Kwh (12-7am).

Children are welcome, although it is probably more suitable for the over 5's as there is no cot or high chair.

Well behaved dogs are welcome (1 large or 2 small), although not upstairs or on the furniture. Please be aware that the boundary is a typical Cornish boundary, where a small wall has been overgrown by vegetation. A dog who is intent on escaping could probably jump over this wall, although we have had no problems with any dogs who have visited so far.

Outdoor Space

Outside there is a garden surrounding the house, which has lots of nooks and crannies and which children will enjoy exploring.

The garage has been converted into a lovely table-tennis room - perfect for wet weather or entertaining children.

There is a patio area and outdoor table seating 6, plus a Weber BBQ. A large sturdy shed provides ample storage for wetsuits and beach equipment. A small grassed area sits just beyond this shed. We also have a bird table and bird food is supplied.

The driveway slopes up towards the house and is accessed via a 5 bar gate at the end of the short drive. There is off-road parking for up to 3 cars.

Opposite Stoney Nook is a farmhouse and farm machinery maintenance business. This is screened by trees, but please take care on the roads as there are sometimes tractors around.

Dogs Welcome at our Padstow dog friendly holiday cottage!

1 large or 2 small well behaved dogs are welcome, by prior arrangement.

Cornwall is a wonderful place for dogs. Please check on which beaches are dog friendly.

Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture and please do not leave them unattended in the house - many thanks!

The boundary at Stoney Nook is a typical Cornish boundary, with vegetation completely covering a small wall, and hence it is not 100% secure in places. A determined dog could probably jump over, so please keep them on a lead if you are concerned.
